Popular Country Music Festival for a Cause

Show promoters, Jeanie Haig and Glen Jarrell presented their 5th country musical festival at Jarrell's property at Harmony Road, North of Belleville, last weekend and donated $2000 to Camp Trillium, a centre treating children, with life threatening ailments.
This four day music festival was a draw for all the country music fans, who gathered in hundreds at the annual Hollyrood Jamboree. According to Jarrell, the music festival drew the maximum crowd on Saturday, the night Canadian singer, Aaron Lines performed.
This musical festival which started as a one night show, with just 8 campers, with one band and one DJ, has now grown into the much sought after, local country music festival of the summer, with an attendance of 600 campers this time.
Others who participated in the musical festival, apart from Aaron Lines, were Mike Pollard and The Unpopular, The Black Family and some renowned local artists. The musical festival came to a draw with a vintage car show on Sunday.
